Old2New Heirlooms came about from my life-long love of sewing and a growing interest in beautiful heirloom reproductions. The youngest
4-H'er at 6 years of age, in my mother's sewing club, I started with an apron and pincushion. An avid sewer ever since, I have sewn countless dresses, pants, jackets, pillowcases and more for family and friends.
I hope you find the items offered here as lovely as I do. I know I can create just the garment you have in mind for YOUR special event!
My niche is the "Ultimate in Recycling" : turning a wedding gown or prom dress into a unique heirloom-quality christening gown and matching bonnet!
Turning an older or everyday item into something special is very rewarding, which is what you will find in the "Vintage to New" section. Here creations which began life in a very different "format" find a new lease on life!
